Dollar is the smartest of the Hillfoots towns, set beneath the Ochils and Castle Campbell on the Dollar Burn. Dollar Academy drew families and built a town of substantial Victorian villas and well-kept stone terraces, and it stays an affluent, period-rich address where the finish is expected to match the house.
We handle period interior decoration, exterior work, sash-window repainting and heritage finishes for exactly this kind of property. Same foreman from first visit to final walk-round, daily clean-up, and a fixed quote before we start.

ABOUT DOLLAR
The smartest of the Hillfoots.
Dollar sits beneath the Ochils and the dramatic Castle Campbell, the most sought-after of the Hillfoots towns. Dollar Academy gave it both its name in education and its handsome stock of Victorian villas, and the town stays affluent and period-rich, with country property spreading up the glen behind.
We have decorated across Dollar since 1959. CHAS, SDF and PDA accredited, with the period and sash window specialism the villa stock calls for and the same foreman from quote to final inspection.

We used Borthwick Decorators to paint our the walls, ceiling, bannisters and skirting in a full height entranceway/staircase and they did a fantastic job. Communication with David was first class and he went out of his way to accomodate us with a really tight turnaround time.
David Borthwick did some exterior decorating work for us a while ago. We were very impressed with the professional and friendly approach, and the quality of workmanship was second to none.
